Chapter 9

  Nicki hit the cold tile floor hard and the impact of the floor caused her head to hurt and she struggled to open her eyes. She heard a lot of yelling, but the impact of the fall was still messing with her head so she couldn't hear exactly what was going on. She could, however, distinguish Lauren's voice as well as a deep baritone voice. When her hearing was back to normal she heard Lauren begging the man not to go. He pushed Lauren down and told her to suck a dick.
"I will baby, I will. Just stay here with me, please. Just stay."
"Bitch, get the fuck away from me!' the man kicked Lauren back down and she started crying hysterically. Nicki tried to sit up and he kicked her in her side. Nicki let out a loud yelp and started screaming to the top of her lungs. She was totally ignoring the physical pain from the blow, but the fact that her baby's were in there made her crazy.
"BITCH I KNOW YOU SEE IM FUCKIN PREGNANT!"
"IDGAF ABOUT YOU OR YA FUCKIN BABY. LIE THE FUCK BACK AND SHUT UP!"
     Nicki refused to listen, she was not about to let him kick her in her stomach like that. She struggled to stand up and at that same moment she was knocked out cold by a .44 mil gun to the top of her skull. She passed out instantly from the blow. Safaree opened the door and bum-rushed the man all in the same second. He punched him over and over and the man let out continuous cries for help, but that didn't move SB at all. He threw the man into the glass table and it was clear he wasn't getting up, but that was satisfactory for SB. He beat the man's face in until it was a bloody pulp. He picked Nicki up and put her safely inside the car and they were soon at the hospital.
    The doctor told SB that the large wound on Nicki's face would soon heal and she would be okay, but there was no way to know if the kick to her side had injured one of the twins or caused them to obtain a birth-defect. Safaree started crying and praying. Hoping both of his baby girls came out healthy.
"God, if anything is wrong with them I'll never live it out down."
    SB left Nicki at the hospital resting while he went to go check in on Lauren. Funny. Whole time I'm beating this nigga ass she tellin' me to stop. From the looks of them big ass welp marks on her she musta been gettin' her ass whooped by him, too. The police had already came and scooped the nigga up, so I should be good right now. 
    SB cracked the door and saw the house was totally clean. Lauren was lying across her bed reading a book.
"Yo, are you okay? What exactly happened today?"
"Safaree, of all days for you and Nic to come randomly check up on me why today? He would've never fucking left if you guys would of stayed the fuck away and stop makin' it seem like such a big thing!"
"What the fuck?! Lauren your best friend got knocked OUT by this nigga. And he was beating your fuckin ass! Why you takin' up for this nigga?!'
"Safaree, leave. Please."
    Safaree knew if he stayed he would go ballistic again so he just left. He called Nic's chauffeur and asked him to pick Nicki up from the hospital and drop her off home. After he made a few stops, he drove home silently and Nic got there minutes later. He ran the shower for her and sat on their big California King Bed while she took a bath. When she got out he grabbed her and kissed her forehead where the .44 caliber gun had hit her and she cringed in pain. He rubbed her hair and she asked, "Safaree, will you marry me?"
"W-w-w-what Nicki?" Safaree began fumbling through his pockets looking for the ring and Nicki grabbed his hand and handed him the ring.
"Oh my God Nicki yas, yas!" he said jumping around imitating Nicki's voice. She laughed until her stomach hurt and she had to lay back down. Safaree ran his fingers through her hair.
"Nicki what about..."
"We'll get through it.. Don't worry. We got our whole lives to think this one through."
With that being said she fell asleep in his arms. Safe and sound
